Canto V of the Inferno was reenacted and photographed in the turbulent hellish waters of a hot tub in Pittsburgh. The images were printed with pigmented inks on 100% cotton paper. Text was set in Garamond and transferred onto polymer plates by Boxcar Press. The text paper was handmade by Twinrocker. These pages were letterpress printed on a Vandercook proofing press. The book was digitally printed, letterpress printed and bound by the photographer in an edition limited to 100 copies in the spring 2004.
